Joint report of the Center for Strategic Research and the Higher School of Economics on regulatory policy published in English
The English (short) version of the joint report of the Center for Strategic Research and the Higher School of Economics “Regulatory policy in Russia: the main trends and architecture of the future” was published on November 15, 2018. The latest report of this kind and scope was prepared by the OECD in November 2005 [Russia: Building Rules for the Market - OECD Reviews of Regulatory Reform].
On July 23, Radio Mediametrics in the cycle "E-commerce actual" (hosted by the president of The National Association of Distant Trade Alexander Ivanov) released the program "Regulation: how does it work?"
The director of the RIA Center of the Higher School of Economics Daniel Tsygankov and the coordinator of the project "New Regulatory Policy" of the Center for Strategic Research Mikhail Komin took part in the program. The participants discussed how laws are born and how they pass from birth to adoption. Who, how and at what stage can influence their value and importance for society, how public institutions and non-governmental organizations are able to influence lawmaking and lobbying interests.
Participants also addressed to the proposals from the report on Regulatory Policy published by the Center for Strategic Research and Higher School of Economics in May 2018.

Head of the RIA Center Daniil Tsygankov participated on November 30, 2017 in a panel discussion "Improving Regulatory Outcomes – Participation of Key Stakeholders" in 3th Financial Times Regulation Forum in Berlin (Germany), and offered to develop evidence-based Standard for regulation.
Session on RIA and the round table on regulation took place at the Higher School of Economics within the framework of the XVII International Academic Conference
Session O-10 “RIA in Russia: on the path to maturity” and the round table O-11 “Future of regulation” took place on April 21, 2016 at the Higher School of Economics in the framework of the XVII International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development.
On December 16, 2015 Director of the RIA Center of IPAG HSE, an independent expert of the Advisory Committee on Entrepreneurship at the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Daniel TSYGANKOV spoke at the round table “Regulatory Impact Assessment as an integral element of the dialogue between business and government in the Eurasian Economic Commission” at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The event was organized by the CCI together with MIBA and the Eurasian Economic Commission for the purpose of summarizing results of the first year of RIA mechanism use in the EEC.
On November 20, 2015 Daniel Tsygankov, Director of the RIA Center of IPAG HSE, spoke at the seminar “Practical issues of regulatory impact assessment procedures in the Tula region” in the Business Development Center of “Sberbank of Russia” (the city of Tula).
